**Job Description:**
We are seeking a senior clinical documentation manager to oversee the evaluation and routing of US-centric clinical documentation. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical documentation requirements, wound management principles, and medical terminology. Additionally, knowledge of US healthcare billing rules and regulations, as well as post-acute market knowledge, including home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, and wound care centers, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and route incoming clinical documentation to the appropriate team
- Follow up on online authorization requests timely and escalate any anomalies
- Manage volume of outbound calling to patients to obtain correct caregiver information
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve team metrics, forecasts, and goals
Requirements:
- Two years of successful operations leadership experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation requirements and wound management principles
- Knowledge of US healthcare billing rules and regulations
