**Job Description**

The Digital Workplace Architect will play a key role in our company's success by determining and developing business strategies for end user computing transformations, desktop upgrades, standardizations, and rollout projects.


**Key Responsibilities**

  • Determine and develop business strategies, principles, requirements, scope, design, and implementation of end user computing transformations, desktop upgrades, standardizations, and rollout projects.
  • Define the digital workplace strategy that aligns with the overall infrastructure/business strategies and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain global digital workplace architecture design deliverables and intellectual capital to deliver highly standardized, repeatable, and reusable services.
  • Manage the deliverable documentation through all iterations of the project and archive the final deliverables for potential future use.
  • Interlock with 3rd party vendor and internal service delivery team for solution design, project implementation, service integration, and operation optimization.


**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, enabling the presentation of complex technical solutions.
  • Technical knowledge of Mobile Device Management/Enterprise Mobility Management focused on InTune.
  • Knowledge of packaging principles and tooling (e.g., InstallShield, AdminStudio, PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit, MSIX, Intune).
  • Strong expertise in the Microsoft Stack including Windows 7, Windows 10, Enterprise Mobility & Security Suite, Azure AD, O365, M365 Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, Skype, Identity Management, etc.
  • Technical knowledge of Server & Workplace Virtualization Solutions.
  • Cloud Solution Experience (Azure, AWS).
  • Experience and familiarity with assessment & endpoint monitoring analytics tools (Lakeside SysTrack, Aternity, Microsoft Desktop Analytics, Microsoft Endpoint Analytics, MSACT, MUR, AppDNA, Power BI, Login PI, etc.).
  • Application Assessment/Rationalization/Remediation experience.
  • Knowledge of networking for the purposes of operating system deployment strategy and design.


**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**

  • Microsoft Windows Migration and upgrade experience.
  • Experience presenting architectural concepts and designs to clients.
  • Good understanding of authentication mechanisms (i.e., MFA) and modern authentication methods (ADFS, OAuth, SAML, SSO, etc.).
  • Good understanding of operating system features, security components, and how they are managed for common client mobile and desktop operating systems.
  • Experience working with desktop encryption and data security products (e.g., BitLocker, Symantec Encryption Desktop, McAfee Drive Encryption, Azure Information Protection, Microsoft Information Protection).
