This role offers a unique opportunity to work on the full lifecycle development of advanced products and services solutions. You'll be responsible for debugging, development, and release management during the entire product lifecycle. Our technical career path provides vertical and horizontal growth in engineering, IT, and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting up new instances for customers in our AWS platform
  • Maintaining existing instances, including monitoring, troubleshooting performance and functional issues, patch upgrades, major upgrades, customer migrations, and other tasks necessary for supporting Micro Focus SaaS customers
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
  • Identifying and documenting repeatable demand activities and supporting the SaaS SOC and other teams who will execute them
  • Providing technical feedback to Product Marketing and R&D, and assisting Tier 2 Support by providing technical and customer domain expertise
  • The SaaS Engineer is responsible for establishing work environments for the ADM SaaS customers, along with debugging and investigating problems and failures within the environments
  • The SaaS Engineer interfaces with DBAs, Network Administrators, Application Consultants, Client Managers, and customers to handle multiple ongoing activities
Requirements:
  • Knowledge in Networking and Databases
  • Entry/Mid-level knowledge in Linux
  • AWS experience is an advantage
  • Deep Oracle/PostgreSQL knowledge is an advantage
  • ITIL Certification is an advantage
  • Scripting and automation knowledge (Jenkins, Python, Ansible, bash scripting) is an advantage
Personal Skills and Qualities:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language
  • Able to multitask across different accounts and prioritize tasks
  • Resilience and resourcefulness when solving complex problems
  • Experiencing working with customers
  • Organized and used to work/create documentation
  • Able to support customers through long upgrade processes
Education and Professional Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
