Job Description

The Billing Team Lead will be responsible for the effective supervision and administration of the billing team, including performance management, employee relations, training, and assigning work and related activities.

This role requires a highly motivated, client-focused leader with a positive attitude and high-level communication skills.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of related billing experience, 2-3 years in leadership roles, and strong knowledge of billing procedures, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain relevant systems, internal calls, and invoice logs with status updates, follow-up details, and other relevant information.
  • Provide leadership, expertise, and guidance to the billing Analysts to ensure timely and accurate services and responses to queries.
  • Create reports and metrics to improve control of processes and support management decisions.
  • Proactively communicate with the team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones with direct reports to review individual performance, team performance, and offer ongoing developmental coaching.
Required Skills and Qualifications

In addition to the following:

  • 5 years of related billing experience.
  • 2-3 years in leadership roles.
  • Advance studies in business administration, finance, or related field.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Strong knowledge of billing procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong numeric aptitude.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP systems.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite.

Salary Range: $85,000-$110,000 per year
