Job Description:

The Senior Data Management Specialist will be responsible for completing, creating, and maintaining the master database (Vendor, Customer, Reconciliation Account) Business Service Center. This role will involve daily Master tasks and working closely with the accountant to ensure that processes are followed using standard procedures.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Completing daily tasks, which may include Master Data Maintenance Tasks, Month and Year end close support, KPI and metrics calculation, Issue Management, process new customer/vendor/reconciliation account requests, upload documentation to different portals, generate work-plans to meet targets, manage workload balances, provide customer/vendor support through training, skill acquisition, and continuous improvement.
  • Performing all assigned quality checks functions accurately and timely to meet targets.
  • Providing support to global projects through job shadowing, transaction testing, and documenting.
  • Supporting the audit process and quality checks.
  • Completing KPI metrics according to the SLA.
  • Supporting the organization by using the Continuous Improvement Philosophy (CIP).
  • Working in a team environment, involving collaboration and the use of team-based methods and tools.
  • Identifying issues on a timely manner and providing visibility to the management team when something will affect targets negatively.
  • Participating in status and planning meetings related to projects or new implementations.
  • Attending and/or contributing to trainings for internal customers and new colleagues.
  • Escalating problems related to performance of available tools for daily work (SAP, SSF, OTRS, and other lookup issues).
  • Supporting standardization, automation, and enhancement projects, requiring providing status, setting up meetings, and meeting deadlines.
  • Attending meetings on behalf of the supervisor when needed.
  • In charge of daily distribution work.

Qualifications:

We are looking for an advanced student in accounting or a related field (Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or other career-related fields). The ideal candidate should have computer skills, including MS Office (Excel), knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP, Solomon-plus, etc.), and a minimum of 1-year experience within the accounting area. Experience in a shared service center is preferred, as well as English level B2+.
