Job Summary: As a Senior Pastry Baker at Marriott International, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of baked goods to the highest standards. This includes preparing doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating pastries as required. You will work closely with our chefs to ensure that all production meets quality and presentation standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance and report any issues to management.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Safely use and maintain baking equipment, reporting any damage or malfunction to management.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and personal hygiene.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must have excellent pastry-making skills and attention to detail. You should be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality. Additionally, you must be comfortable standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a generous paid time off policy.
