Job Overview
The Sales Strategy Lead at Microsoft Corporation will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and commercial success. As a key member of the Accounts Team, you will be responsible for translating customer software requirements into licensing solutions that meet their business needs.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including sellers, business teams, and partners, to achieve revenue targets and grow the licensing annuity business.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactive Engagement
- Collaborate with sellers and business stakeholders to achieve revenue targets
- Leverage critical resources to drive business outcomes
- Orchestrate high-level strategic conversations internally or externally
- Develop pricing scenarios and proposals
- Conduct competitive analysis to contribute to crafting commercial solutions
- Determine how commercial licensing and contracting should be changed to best meet customer needs
- Handle objections and negotiate contractual amendments within empowerment
- Craft deals that will process, including any standard or custom amendments and documentation
