Trade Marketing Role

At British American Tobacco, we are committed to creating a better future. This is what drives our people and our passion for innovation. We are looking for a Trade Marketing Representative to join our team in Costa Rica.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a trade marketing plan for your territory, aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Manage the implementation of merchandising and promotion plans in your points of sale, using displays to achieve agreed-upon brand and volume objectives.
  • Monitor and maintain trade marketing and distribution representation in independent or chain stores, ensuring it is superior to the competition.
  • Meet distribution objectives for each brand by channel and type of point of sale, maximizing availability according to brand strategies and market needs.
  • Implement territorial marketing programs for presence and promotion, optimizing resource and material use to achieve high visibility in stores and sales performance for key strategic brands.
  • Establish strong professional relationships with retailers to achieve high levels of support and loyalty, while also understanding the commercial environment.
  • Manage financial reports and assets for your territory, ensuring trade marketing resources are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide ongoing information on trade marketing and customer performance to ensure the Area Manager and key customer managers are informed.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and marketing skills.
  • University degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of sales.
  • Proficiency in Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license (B1).
