Job Description:
- Write and edit end-user, administrator, installation and integration documentation for paper, multimedia or web-based publication.
- Conduct interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation and collaborate with members of cross-functional teams to improve documentation products.
- Create FAQs, technical white papers, flowcharts, diagrams and other miscellaneous support documents.
- Translate technical information into manuals and web-based documents for nontechnical and technical users.
- Work with development to create meaningful system messages for the user interface.
- Collaborate with members of cross-functional teams.
- Evaluate and ensure documentation conforms to quality assurance standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum four years of technical writing experience.
- Able to successfully complete a 'from scratch' documentation project.
- Collaborate with Manager to plan approach and schedule for a project, then execute plan.
