We are Freudenberg Medical Srl, a global provider of medical device design and manufacturing. Our company is committed to innovation, quality, and lean manufacturing.

In this role, you will work with plant financial records for our Costa Rica location. Your responsibilities will include monthly closing, year-end audits, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records
  • Serve as a business partner to support profit targets and forecasts
  • Maintain internal controls according to Company policy
  • Prepare financial analysis to support business objectives
  • Facilitate the annual business plan process
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Coordinate physical inventories and encourage cycle counts
  • Ensure documented completion of training for staff/employees
  • Participate in and support lean/continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support safety initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Advanced degree or professional certification preferred
  • Related Master Degree
  • Excel knowledge
  • SAP deep knowledge
  • Advanced English language skills
  • Free Zone regulations deep knowledge
  • Five to seven years of progressive experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP / IFRS and financial reporting matters
  • ERP system experience and consolidation software knowledge (QAD and Hyperion Enterprise knowledge a plus)
  • Big 4 CPA firm experience is preferred
