We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our global technology group at Freudenberg Medical Srl. About the Role
This role is responsible for maintaining plant financial records, becoming a business partner, maintaining internal controls, and preparing financial analysis to support business objectives. You will also facilitate the annual business plan process, prepare annual cost plans, and participate in lean and safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records for Costa Rica's plant, including monthly closing, year-end audits, and reconciling accounts.
  • Become a trusted business partner supporting Lead Center and Division Managers in reaching profit targets, prepares forecasts, and provides insightful financial analysis.
  • Maintain robust internal controls in accordance with Company policy to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis as needed to support business objectives and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Facilitate the annual business plan process, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive annual cost plans setting work center rates for inventory valuation and standard product cost.
  • Coordinate physical inventories and encourage cycle counts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Responsible for documented completion of training for staff/employees per current company procedures.
  • Participate in and support lean/continuous improvement initiatives to drive process efficiency and innovation.
  • Participate in and support safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
  • Advance degree or professional certification preferred (e.g., CPA, CMA).
  • Related Master Degree or certifications in finance/accounting.
  • Proficient in Excel and SAP, with experience in ERP systems and consolidation software a plus.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Five to seven years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP / IFRS and financial reporting matters.
  • Big 4 CPA firm experience is highly valued.
