Overview: As a Technical Content Verification Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of Amazon Devices and services. You will collaborate with the ASP Quality Assurance Engineering (QAE) team and a group of experienced testers to guarantee that new and enhanced software releases and devices meet the standards required for a successful customer experience.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Verify the functionality of new and existing Alexa Smart Property features on Amazon Devices.
- Identify and raise defects for all failures observed during testing, tracking doubts related to the execution of test instructions through pre-defined mechanisms.
- Collaborate with the QAE team and other testers to resolve issues and improve the overall quality of Amazon Devices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools, adapting quickly to new developments in the field.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of business software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and more.
- Cultivate excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions, providing clear and concise feedback to stakeholders.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of two years of experience working in a technical role, with a strong background in computer science, software development, or a similar field. Advanced students in these areas may also be considered. Your experience should include a solid understanding of various QA methodologies and tools, such as Postman, Jira, and more.
