Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Data Management Documentation Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our documentation team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, updating, and facilitating technical and non-technical documentation for the Experian Data Development team.
Working closely with other leaders in CIS and Experian, including Operations Managers, Data Analysts, Quality Assurance Managers, Product Managers, Development Managers, and Sales Leaders, under the oversight of the Documentation & Training Manager, you will assess documentation needs, establish documentation objectives, and develop and execute appropriate documentation for existing, new, and enhanced operational duties, taking into consideration regulatory needs.
Responsibilities- Accurately translate complex topics into simple, layman terms.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members and project staff to plan, develop, and produce high-quality documentation in a fast-paced environment.
- Work simultaneously on multiple assignments.
- Makes updates to existing materials to ensure relevance and accuracy while adhering to company format.
- Reviews current documentation format and proposes modifications regarding organization and presentation, performs continuous analysis of documented processes and procedures, and collaborates with process owners for modifications when needed, and assumes some responsibility for document governance and reviews.
- A bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience required.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience writing and editing technical information.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with or knowledge of documentation management systems/practices.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- The ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
