Job Description

The Senior Business Development Specialist will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. This role is part of our Customer Managed Services (CMS) department, where you'll work with our internal team, vendor partners, and customers around the world to commercialize and leverage IT products and solutions.

This individual's core priority is addressing customers' needs and concerns as quickly and effectively as possible to develop and maintain strong relationships. They will work with multiple small accounts or a few larger ones, serving as the main point of contact for many clients and being in the business of customer service. Additionally, they may be involved in upselling and cross-selling products and services.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client-related matters and concerns
  • BUILD AND STRENGTHEN CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS TO ACHIEVE LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIPS
  • Maintain accurate client records, tracking contract updates and renewals
  • Collaborate with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure key performance indicators are met
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients
  • Successfully manage a book of accounts through research, consistent follow-up, and strategic thinking
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Rout qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • CLOSE SALES AND ACHIEVE QUARTERLY QUOTAS
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Perform effective online demos, spot checks, and POCs to prospects
  • Proper Salesforce documentation (Updating Regularly)
  • Keep up with the constant Riverbed Trainings
