ROLE SUMMARYThe United States (US) Meetings, External Engagements, & Travel (MEET) Initiator Analyst position is responsibleforsubmitting MAPP (My Anti-Corruption Processes and Policies) transactions in Navigator+, including HCP profiling, contracting, and confirmation of services, through the receipt,processing, and post completion of quality and compliance checks in the system.
This Initiator Analyst will work closely with Engagement Owners in the US, demonstratingaccountability and integrity in the face of challenge and respond to change with agility, optimism, andinnovation.
They will collaborate cross-functionally as appropriate.The MEET Initiator Analystposition is based in San Jose, Costa Rica, and will work with US projectowners, payments team, regional sourcing team, and other COEs as appropriate.
TheInitiator Analyst will report directly to the MEET Operations Team Lead.RESPONSIBILITIESClosely monitor any Meeting Planning Agencies (MPAs) assigned to transaction, ensuring that thelogistics actions for the events are completed in accordance with SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and tothe quality expected from Pfizer.Ensure submitted My Anti-Corruption Processes and Policies (MAPP) transactions are compliant withMAPP policy, Country Annex, Country Profile, MEET Standards and are properly documented acrossMEET systems.Create and execute healthcare contracts for external healthcare professionals, ensuring fair marketvalue is accurate (per FMV calculator) and the healthcare provider (HCP) is qualified (CV review).Support payment and processing activities as needed including getting account info, vendormaintenance, meeting PO, card management, down payments, and individual logistics payments.Work with Engagement Owners to identify MAPP local requirements and HCPindividual classifications for assigned submissions.Liaise with Engagement Owners and Legal to secure contract editions are appropriate and approved on a timely manner.Ensure that contracts and letters for MEET transactions are reviewed and signed appropriately.Work with Business to resolve any errors, issues, or rejections resulting from transaction review.Detailed review / submission of all MEET data/submissions to ensure accuracy.Responsible for completing compliance check list of compliance activities.Collect audit support and documentation review for transactions.Perform exception remediations as needed.Post-event budget reconciliation/plan to outcome.Complete other close-out activities as needed.Minimum of bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related discipline.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSStrong written and verbal communication skills enabling effective communication with stakeholders from all levels.Good organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple assignments.Strong technical skills in managing transactions within a global system.Ability to work under pressure and to handle several projects at once.Proficiency in PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.Fluency in English is a must; additional languages preferred.Ability to balance demand from multiple stakeholders.Strength with multitasking and ensuring accurate detail.Understanding of accounting terms and financial cycle.High level of self-motivation, energy and flexibility.Understanding of compliance/financial controls.Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.Strong customer service skills and mindset.Highly focused on customer service.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSTypical Years of Experience: two years of experience in compliance, and customer focused operationswith significant volumes and risk (incl.
