**Key Responsibilities**
- ** Leadership**:Contributes to development and implementation of business strategies at Executive and Global Management levels; and acts as a communication conduit internally to ensure balancing of priorities across the company.
Trusted, consistent voice at Exec level, balancing personnel and business needs.
Active and highly visible participant in the company's acquisition activities, including due diligence and acquisition integration.
Directly leads in-country HR Leaders, providing a global support system focused on consistency and collaboration as we establish HR strategies.
- ** Strategic Thinking**: Learns and understands the business holistically to contribute to strategy development among their peers.
Assist the Executive and Global Management leaders in thinking strategically about their future personnel needs, including the development of talent, succession planning, and M&A (people diligence, organizational design, and integration).

- **Compliance**: Monitors global economic and regulatory trends to propose timely risk mitigation strategies; oversees global site compliance across all HR relevant areas and ensures investigations/audits/special projects are conducted through completion.
- **Talent Management**: Designs and implements strategies and tactics to attract, retain, and promote a skilled and diverse workforce; proposes and implements multi-year organizational structure with a formal succession planning and development process to support business growth targets.
- **Program Management**: Oversees all HR-relevant global and in-country programs, including total rewards, performance, recruiting, and payroll, with a focus on global consistency and alignment with company strategies.
Benchmarks industry trends to ensure market competitiveness in HR, salary, and benefits programs.
- **Budget**: Forecasts and manages annual costs overseen by HR functions; assists business leaders with current and multi-year labor cost planning.
- **Metrics**: Leads the development and monitoring of scorecards/KPIs focused on leading and lagging indicators of success within the HR function and global programs.
Demonstrates competencies in cost-benefit analysis and other data-driven tools to support ROI.
- **Tools/Resources**: Oversees selection, implementation, and utilization of in-country and global platforms that support effective management of HR functions and provide consolidated reporting capabilities for corporate visibility.
**Ideal Experience**
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 2+ years leading international teams across various HR disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience across HR disciplines within a combination of countries in North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Manufacturing industry experience; preferably in medical device or another highly regulated market(s).
- Experience leading within a multi-division, global matrixed reporting line structure.
- Strong business and financial acumen; with demonstrated experience contributing to decision making at senior leadership levels and guiding strategy implementation.
- Experience representing HR in M&A related due diligence and leading organizations through effective integration processes.
- Ability and mindset necessary to navigate international cultures while creating action plans and programs aimed towards global consistency.
- Experience creating and utilizing HR dashboards, KPIs, and monitoring metrics suitable for multi-country teams and Exec/BOD level audiences.
- Executive level presentation skills, both in demonstration of data and speaking.
