**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**
Wind River Systems is seeking an experienced high-performing Web Application Architect for a position developing a cloud-based platform that spans across all products.
This role will consist of:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
- Work with large scale microservice architecture backends using message brokers, data pipelines, etc.
In a company with significant growth and the leader in embedded platforms, you will be part of a team developing and supporting the tools infrastructure used by all engineering teams.
This position requires proven skills in software development tools and excellent English oral and written communication skills.
The ability to consider multiple operating systems while designing and implementing a feature is essential.
You will likely need to work with a variety of tools, operating systems, and products to ensure delivery of high-quality code.
**ABOUT YOU**
**Responsibilities**:
- Deliver features and updates to the infrastructure using your Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, microservices, database data handling and other skills.
- You will be responsible to manage and maintain integrations between tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, JIRA, and many more.
- Develop new user interfaces and reporting options for these tools.
**Qualifications**:
- Required strong experience with one or more web development frameworks: Angular, React, Django, Ajax.
- Required strong experience with back-end development, preferably NodeJs.
- Required experience with REST & APIs, Javascript, CSS, HTML
- Required experience with Postgres and Kafka, NiFi helpful
- Required experience with DevOps and Agile practices.
- Required experience with GIT, Jenkins, Jira, Kubernetes, and Docker as part of the delivery pipeline.
- Design and Architect solutions for OS Build system and Security (Authentication, Authorization) systems.
- 5-8+ years working in software development.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- BSEE/BSCS or equivalent experience.
