**Position Objetive**:
The **Manager R2R for DHL Central America **is instrumental in the R2R transformation strategy through CENAC Region.Will leads, manages and develops the R2R team of finance professionals, in maintaining accurate and reliable accounting for DHL Central America.
Maintain an effective system of internal controls and to ensure compliance policies and procedures and any applicable laws and regulations.
**Job Summary**
- Supervises assigned staff in accounting, financial analysis and/or reporting activities.
(General Accounting, Management Accounting, Intercompany, Fixed Assets)
- Responsible for coordinating and supervising the maintenance of the general ledger and for the production of various resultant financial statements.
- Provides daily direction to a group of professional accountants and/or financial staff.
- Oversees the day-to-day operations for assigned work group or team.
- Provides feedback to the manager on employees' work performance and has input into employment decisions.
- Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
- Accountable for maintain and promote compliance in accounting operations.
- On charge of support projects, transitions and process changes resulting from Company's strategies.
- Responsible for Balance Sheet review and account reconciliation.
- Provides for effective management of assigned personnel including hiring, training, supervising and administering performance evaluations.
- Provides for effective communication among assigned teams in order to ensure an environment where expectations are understood, problems are addresses, and suggestions/revisions encouraged.
- Ensures compliance with all program regulations and implementation of new regulations.
- Ensures adequate documentation and support of transactions and reports.
- Participates in determining the proper treatment of complex or unusual transactions.
- Determine efficient work processes and procedures.
- Alignment of E2E processes between & within departments
- Collaborates with managers and directors to identify and implement process efficiencies and quality improvements.
**Your further qualifications are (must have)**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Accounting IAS Certification (i.e.
CPA, ACCA etc.)
or MBA strongly preferred.
- Proven knowledge of finance and accounting principles and practices GAAP or IFRS and auditing
- Proven analytical, and accuracy skills.
Requires attention to details
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- English fluent
