IT Solution Engineer Finance Area
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and design technical solutions for small to medium-sized projects within the Finance area, ensuring alignment with business requirements and global standards.
Lead the overall technical design and configuration of solutions, including defining long-term support and evolution plans.
Implement seamless digital analytics using common technology platforms, achieving enterprise-level security, quality of service, and scale.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Solution Engineers, Enterprise Architecture, and Analytics Designers, to ensure solutions fit within the enterprise context.
Coordinate engagements with vendors for evaluation, design, and delivery of business capabilities.
Contribute to the evaluation and selection of software products.
Serve as a thought leader, staying connected to industry and technology user groups and networks, and influencing the company culture to value and utilize cross-business and functional data and analytics.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; an MBA is desired.
3-5 years of continuous experience in software engineering, software development, solution architecture.
Mandatory Data Modelling Techniques of Data Bases.
Desirable Knowledge in Object Oriented Languajes.
Strong knowledge on Data Managament processes.
SAP ABAP - Technical expertise (desired).
Strong technical knowledge of diverse analytical tools and solutions (APIs, SQL, BW, Tableau).
Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Enterprise and Data Bases.
Experience with SAP software solutions (ECC, BW, BI, S4).
Experience with integration methods and tools, including ETL and virtualization.
Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architects and infrastructure engineers.
Strong technical leadership of Analytics Delivery teams and vendors.
Experience leading IT projects and/or programs with strong SDLC understanding, including Agile / Waterfall methodologies.
Broad range of business and IT experiences; has achieved technical and/or business certification(s).
Cultivates networking opportunities within the organization.
Ability to work in a virtual team across distance, cultures, and time zones.
High level of communication required.
Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and strong time management skills.
Embraces learning agility to keep abreast of new technologies and strategies.
Ability to operate in a digital workplace utilizing modern technologies.
Organizational Relationships/Scope:
Reports to a Senior Manager in the IT Application Solutions organization.
No direct reports.
Main Interfaces: Functional Engineers, Business Customers, Enterprise Data Management teams, Solution Engineers, Enterprise Architects, Analytics Designers, Project Manager.
External Interfaces: Consultants, Vendors, Managed Services Providers (onshore/offshore).
Working Conditions:
Approximately 15% travel may be required.
Travel may include domestic and international travel by aircraft and motor vehicle.
