**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- The Customer Support Leader is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of Customer Support operations for the IBM Cloud.
Key responsibilities include management, leadership and execution of key processes within the IBM Cloud Customer Support organization to ensure that the highest service levels are attained/maintained.
- Tactical emphasis is on improving the customer experience in support, quality management, productivity, performance and improvements in NPS.
Strategic emphasis is on long term strategy and focus on how to better serve the market.
- The Leader's success is measured by the organization's ability to provide high quality services and continuous improvement in the delivery of support services throughout multiple disciplines.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Minimum 3 years of Technical Support management experience.
- 5 years professional experience working with Cloud products and the execution of global services for cloud products.
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written/oral communication and presentation skills required.
- Ability to engage during nights and weekends as needed.
- Travel up to 25%.
- Provide strong leadership that guides the team to think both tactically and strategically in the delivery of support.
- Deliver results against a defined set of objectives that includes tactical metrics, strategic innovation and cross functional collaboration between internal organizations.
- Develop, implement and maintain effective internal and external communication.
- Ensuring targeted service performance and productivity standards are achieved/exceeded.
- Develop analytic, strategic and technical resources to meet client expectations and ensure satisfaction.
- Mentor, coach and train staff on best practices.
- Manage escalations and collaborate with peers in supporting organizations.
- Ancillary project management as required.
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
