TE Connectivity’s Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Out teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.

**About the position**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, lead, plan and implement the remediation initiatives of the Quality System in terms of CAPAs, NCs, Qlty Plans and any other key need that ensures compliance or improvement of the Quality System.
- Develop, lead, plan and implement process automation strategies in terms of inspection processes, production processes or data analysis processes that impact product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate technically in the solution of complex problems related to customer complaints, as well as complex projects of NPIs (New Product Introduction) and NPDs (New Product Development).
- Carry out communication strategies, through projectpresentations, progress reports and formal closings.
- Document CapEx (Capital Expenditure), calculatethe return on investment of projects to justify their reliability.
- Support the implementation of quality electronic systems and other systems that could affect the QMS.
- Ensure the validations of the project portfolio according to the requirements of the quality system.

**Education and Experience**:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Electromechanical or lgunacareer to end.
- Experience in Process Automation, AOIs, Collaborative Robots, Robotics, Sensors, etc.
- Experience working in Quality. Resolution of CAPAs, NCs and/or Customer Complaints.
- 3-5 years of minimum experience in similar positions.

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge in Problem Solving and DMAIC techniques
- Management of Executive Presentations
- MS Project Management
- Knowledge in calculating project returns on investment
- Various certifications in automation processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to work on their own initiative with little supervision. Self-sufficient.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with great ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to evaluate information gathered from observation, experience, reasoning, and/or communication. Demonstration of clarity, accuracy, independent judgment and thoroughness.
- Excellent attention to detail and report writing.
- Based in Costa Rica, but willing to travel up to 10 % of the time.
