**Automation Engineer (Remote)**
**Heredia, Costa Rica**
SGF Global is looking for an Automation Engineer, for IT enterprise in Heredia - Costa Rica.
**Requirements**:
- Undergraduate Degree, Technical Certificate, or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
- English C1.
- Full time (8h)
- 3+ years Automated test development using Selenium Java is required.
- Experience with Test and Defect Management tools.
- Experience working within DevOps tools, framework, and workflow and in Infrastructure testing using Ansible is preferred.
- Solid experience with manual test case design and evaluation for Automation feasibility.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision and produce results.
- Experience in automating Mobile Device Testing and or Perfecto Mobile is a plus.
- Ability to generate reports from test results with mínimal rework.
- Isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects and verifies fixes
- Develops test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
**Position's General Duties and Tasks**:
- Knowledgeable about the master test plan and/or the project plan creation.
- Review and contribute to requirements analysis and agile story grooming to ensure testability.
- Determine Testing strategy based on requirements analysis.
- Validate infrastructure changes performed in the environment
- Design, create, enhance, and update manual and automated test cases based on requirements, test scenarios and other design documents.
- Report testing status to QA Manager and Project Team weekly.
- Design and execute test cases.
- Ensure defects are resolved in a timely manner.
- Experience working on Enterprise Level Systems and Integration Testing.
