**Senior Quality Engineer (Hybrid)**

**Heredia, Costa Rica**

SGF Global is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer, for IT enterprise in Heredia, Costa Rica.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent required.
- Strong expertise in identifying the scope of automation, driving the automation test development.
- Programming Languages: - Java
- Tools: - TestNG, Selenium, Maven, Cucumber, and Jenkins and any DB experience
- Experience with SQL queries to review and update test data.
- Experience with functional and API test automation, Test script creation and modification required using test automation frameworks based on BDD, Selenium, Appium
- Experience with SOAPUI, Rest Assured API Testing
- Familiar with CI-CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins.
- Expertise in creating automation scripts and executing, maintenance of the Automation scripts. (Nice to have)
- Experience with API testing, testing methodologies and tools - Exposure to project management tools + QE tools. (Nice to have)
- Good understanding of Orchestration tools and deployment environment Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes (Nice to have)
- Certification (Good to have): Selenium WebDriver frameworks, Core/Advanced Java, DevOps, Agile/Scrum (Nice to have)
- English C1
- Full time (8h)

**Position's General Duties and Tasks**:

- Mentor as a technical lead for the project.
- Good Requirement analysis, Team coordination capabilities, Proficient in Test case creation, Test Execution, Defect Tracking, and root cause analysis
- Ability to build productive relationships with teams, clients, and business users.
- Quality Engineering or Development experience in Agile working environment, time-to-market driven environment preferred.
- Investigating customer problems referred to you by the technical support team, testing bugs, and creating and managing bug reports.
