The Process Engineer is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Define tasks' scope and deliverables that support project goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project trackers and plans and associated communications documents.
- Communicate effectively project expectations to stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Manage expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Identify and resolv issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Plan and schedule project milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track main project milestones and deliverables.
- Deliver and maintain progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.
- Analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Manage changes in project scope, identifying potential crises.
- Define project success criteria.
- Build and develop business relationships vital to the success of the project.**Qualifications**:

- 0-2 years experience in bank services.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts as well as deal effectively with senior leaders from all functional backgrounds on all aspects of business operations.
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

**Description**:
The Finance and Risk Shared Services (FRSS) Process Improvement Analyst for Costa Rica is a professional with good knowledge and some experience in Lean, able to support business process reviews and identify process improvement opportunities. This position will analyze basic and complex issues surrounding the procedures and systems on FRSS and will proactively offer recommendations of enhancements. The FRSS Process Improvement Analyst will work closely with the FRSS Strategy and Execution team in Costa Rica.

**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Collaborates on Lean Process Reviews identifying waste and pain-points in the process using Lean tools (including basic Process Mapping, VSM, SIPOC’s, Time and Motion studies, Benchmarking, etc.).
- Contributes with the creation of presentations, workshops and trainings.
- Assists the local Lead to guide project teams on executing Root Cause Analyses and identifying Action Plans for the elimination of Root Causes to solve various Business and Process issues that achieve project/program objectives.
- Supports the scoping and planning of projects (deliverables, timelines, resourcing, etc.).
- Delivers Lean training courses.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s/University degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
English proficiency B2 or more.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
- Detail oriented, agile, flexible.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, organized and methodical.
