**Responsibilities**
- Assist internal customers with creating requisitions for goods and material.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, delivery schedules, and other contract terms with suppliers to ensure the best possible value for the organization.
- Analyze costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce expenses.
- Perform follow-up on overdue purchase orders and communicate with internal customers when material will arrive.
- Execute reschedule of material as needed.
- Working closely with various departments, such as finance, legal, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure a smooth procurement process that meets the organization's needs.
- Work with accounts payable to resolve any invoice disputes.
- Process all vendor returns in an efficient and timely fashion.
- Upholding ethical standards in procurement operations, including fairness, transparency, and avoiding conflicts of interest.

**Education and/or Experience**
- Degree in Industrial Engineer, Business Administration, Customs, or International Commerce
- 2 - 4 years purchasing experience.
- Must be fluent in English

**Other requirements**
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Understanding how to use data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel's advanced functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and Power BI
- Experience with a MRP planning methods.
- Familiarity with ERP systems as Oracle is a plus.
