As the Government Medicaid Contract Analyst, you will be responsible for administering State

Government contract programs including accurate and timely contract setup, maintenance, and rebate payment processing for the US and Puerto Rico. This includes complying with all mandated regulations and payment timelines.

The operational execution of assigned state contracts requires clear, open communications with the state rebate department and/or a third-party processor acting on behalf of the state. The role of the analyst is being able to process/resolve rebate payments and issues including the performance of robust contract validations and financial reconciliations that follow GSK policies and best practices.

**_ Your Responsibilities_**: This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:

- Complete setup and maintenance of contracts including contract amendments, contract price changes, product changes (launches, discontinuations, divestitures, and acquisitions).
- Create and maintain appropriate supporting documentation (per record retention policies) as evidence for Level 1 and 2, Sarbanes Oxley, and OIG audit and assurance monitoring
- Perform peer review of team member contract setups to verify accuracy, proper documentation, and presence of correct government pricing attributes and flags
- Process mandated and supplemental state invoices following established system validations, financial reconciliations, and controlled processes to produce accurate and timely state Settlement Rebate Packages
- Review state Claim Level Detail data for in-depth analysis of submitted invoice units and dispute resolution. Work with the state to review current and historical disputed scripts and meet a resolution.
- Develop and maintain excellent internal and external customer and stakeholder partnerships to provide exceptional support and positive interactions. Clear, concise, and well organized written and verbal communications to resolve customer rebate payment inquiries and disputes
- Initiate and drive process improvement opportunities to improve cost effectiveness and efficiency
- Partner with Contract Development Managers to review contracts and amendments to identify and resolve potential contract language concerns and operational system viability and impacts
- Establish and maintain system policies in accordance with established departmental guidelines
- Pickup and Scan incoming invoices during the rebate cycle

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Audit, Business Systems and Analytics or other related area.
- 3+ years relevant experience in similar roles.
- Outstanding customer service orientation

**_ Preferred Qualifications:_**
- However, if you have the following, it would be a plus:_
- Contract Management and Rebates Experience on Pharmaceutical Contracts, Government Contracts, Membership or Retailers.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with complex data analysis experience.
