The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Global Sales Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the development and optimization of business operations becoming an integral part of the Global Commercial Center future forward vision. In this role you will support global business operations with a dedicated focus on technology and digital platform design, reporting tool/training plan development, data analysis, and database management. You will work closely with team members across multiple functions such as: sales, operations, business intelligence, and marketing along with Talent Acquisitions and HR Training and Development.

Here, you will make an impact by:

- Maintain commercial reporting structure & supporting tools ensuring data accuracy with proactive identification of problem areas; diagnosing and working with cross functional teams to ensure data integrity and accurate metrics
- Deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly metric reports in a timely manner to monitor business trends, territory performance and rankings, sales process and pipeline metrics, and key corporate initiatives
- Synthesize complex sets of data streams into concise, executive-level presentations
- Utilize insights and project management skills to shepherd progress against Commercial Center strategic goals
- Develop recommended future actions based on insights
- Ensure stakeholders and team members are progressing towards strategic priorities
- Participate in the global simplification, standardization, and automation of sales process related to Sales Incentive Plans, SPIFF, Sales Contests, Point of Sales, Sample Management, Sales Support, and Sales Training
- Lead the design and build of the myTrailhead and/or 3M Learn platform for SIBG Global Sales Professionals, working hand in hand with the business and training teams
- Create and support requests for Power BI builds and analysis of existing reports in support of priority projects and profitable sales growth
- Other duties as assigned

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree (Completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to execute multiple initiatives at the same time from start to finish
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and utilize analytical skills combined with a strong business and technical acumen to support growth and to provide meaningful analytics
- Skilled in the use of SQL and relational databases
- Power user of Microsoft Application Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to work in collaboration with multiple functional areas

- Experience in Salesforce, Power BI, Power Apps
- Experience with training in a private, public, or military environment
- Takes ownership of all aspects of role and seeks to uplevel processes over time
