Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, IT or a related field
- Four years of experience in any of the following quality related fields; auditing, ACES, Six Sigma, Lean, quality assurance, risk management or process improvement
- Three years leading a team of direct and indirect reports
- Experience with test planning, implementing and maintaining high quality programs
- Extensive experience in quality audits, including demonstrated experience of creating and performing audits and outcome reports
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skill with a focus on Excel, Access and SharePoint
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze, problem solve, organize and manage multiple priorities and excellent follow-up skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information
- Ability to influence stakeholders at varying levels

Job summary

The Quality manager will focus on leading a team of Quality Auditors that are internationally located to deliver regular metrics and analysis of the overall health of the DLS program. This role will collaborate with stakeholders internal and external to DLS, across geographic boundaries and at varying levels of the organization. This role will require demonstrated proficiency in the identification of gaps in standard work for resolution and expert knowledge of the Leave and Accommodation program to lead and influence adoption within Amazon. S/he will be an inspiring people manager and adept at quickly growing the organization.

The Quality Manager will be a fast, clear and independent thinker who is naturally curious about how things work, understands importance of Quality in any process, is metrics and data savvy, has an analytical mindset and has demonstrated leadership ability. S/he should show success in following-up and getting things done and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric and ever changing environment. This position will be based out of the United States and may require up to 30% travel, including some international travel.

**Key areas of responsibility**:

- Lead Quality Control for defined processes and geographies.
- Lead and develop a team of Quality Auditors to deliver on daily standard work and monthly deliverables.
- Use a combination of data analysis, user research, benchmarking, and audits to make continuous improvement for the quality program for Leave of Absence and Accommodation.
- Create and present regular monthly reports and dashboards to DLS Leadership.
- Work as key contributor for development and implementation of QMS.
- Identify areas for process improvement and work with both the internal team and business groups to adopt improvements.
- Coordinate with the internal team resources of compliance, audit and quality, and delivery to ensure high standards for frustration free experience
- Facilitate learning solutions in either a physical or a virtual setting.
- Continually evaluate solutions not only for quality and business impact, but scalability.
- Communicates across all levels on operations and program progress.
- Comfortable diving deep in the details, as well as identifying big-picture trends and making recommendations based on the data.
- Advanced degree in Finance, HR, IT or a related field
- Experience with leave of absence or disability quality assurance
- Solid track record for delivery of high quality products
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and managing company-wide programs
- ASQ Certifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Certification
