The office is expected to expand its employee base significantly over the next few years and this is your opportunity to join our Global L&D team to help shape the future of our L&D operations.

Ready to establish and shape our Global Operations team in Costa Rica? Due to increased growth and demand across our L&D team, we have an exciting opportunity to set up and establish our L&D operations support team in San Jose. This team will be part of the Global L&D team and will support the end to end operations for our learning portfolio across BCG.

The Global Operations L&D Team is a dynamic group, constantly required to evolve with the needs of the business. This means that roles are flexible and vary depending on global priorities.

Managing and leading 4 coordinators you and your team will own the operational priorities that support our global L&D transformation and program objectives. You will have a passion for people development and will strive to ensure we deliver the best possible support and service to all of our stakeholders. The remit will be broad, the scope will include many stakeholders and in turn the team will have many opportunities to shape, grow and develop our L&D agenda in this region. You will need to tap into your strengths in communication, organisation skills, autonomous thinking and your ability to get things done in the moment but also be thinking of the future, to succeed in this fast paced, ever changing environment. You will guide your team to ensure they have the support, capabilities, and capacity to lead training programs to the highest of quality in conjunction with strong collaboration with our operations team in New Delhi. Your role will be part of our Global L&D team building our capabilities in how we deliver learning and inspire our learners.

You will:
Team management- Manage a team of four coordinators focused on operational support for our L&D teams across BCG; including capacity planning, workload prioritisation etc- Guide, coach, motivate and develop this team to ensure we continue to grow them as individuals as well as ensuring we have the skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the business- Work within the agreed team norms and continue to foster a psychologically safe environment where everyone can speak up and participate- Play an active role in setting up strong collaboration and relationships with the operations team in New Delhi, the wider Global team and key client stakeholders- Focus the team on setting up and continuing to improve our processes, policies, and practices in line with our overall vision and purpose

Operations delivery- Work hand in hand with the L&D coordinators and broader L&D team to support the roll out of the L&D transformation efforts, in particular participant management for our North America in person Consulting Journey programs- Work hand in hand with the operations team in New Delhi to understand processes, procedures and best practices to build them in to day to day working norms in the new team- Engage and liaise with key stakeholders on calendar planning, staffing of programs and task management to ensure we manage capacity and work requests pro actively- Remain closely connected with the Operations Director; detailing progress, identifying problems and coming up with solutions and show casing where things are moving successfully and where there are obstacles to resolve- As a manager you will lead but also deliver on key tasks - this is a true team player role

Stakeholder, relationships, and content- Establish a strong working relationship with your peers and colleagues in our New Delhi Operations hub, with our global meeting and events team, with our operational teams across the regions and with the learning journey managers as we continue our L&D transformation efforts.- Understand all training programs in our global remit: virtual live training, live in person training, hybrid training, self paced learning etc to ensure you can connect the processes and make improvements- Have a passion to engage and continue to review innovation and technology options to support future training models- Analyse and review training programs and feedback to take a view and establish where change needs to come. This means attending programs from time to time to view how things are running to receiving the feedback reports for each training identifying positive trends as well as areas of development- Work collaboratively with stakeholders beyond operations; communication team, innovation team etc to stay close to the business and priorities- Where required be a thought partner and key source of coll
