We are looking for someone who would be part of the Global Pricing & Database Maintenance team responsible for designing, maintaining, and updating key transaction support as a Specialist, Agent Database in Western Union.

**Role Responsibilities**
- This position has the responsibility of designing, maintaining, and updating key transaction support production databases.
- Provides technical expertise in the use of database technology and available tools, to contribute to the execution of company’s marketing, finance, strategic, customer care projects and new product initiatives.
- Accountable for the overall performance of the key transaction support database environment, which is maintained through the processing of requests within Standard Response Times and priorities, and according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Requires a high level of accuracy, reliability, commitment, and responsibility to ensure that mission-critical business technical requests, are correctly applied into the production environment.
- Detects, corrects, or escalate errors or inconsistencies in already existing records to actively contribute towards database integrity.
- Creates and maintains critical databases for our global agents, having high level expertise in the management of Cloud Pricing Engine and One Platform Core Systems which have direct effect on all our Digital and Retail Point of Sale, including Fees, FX Spreads, Country Information, Products, Templates, Error Codes, Promo Codes, Quick Collect, Banner/Bulletin Boards.

**Role Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree or close to completing this degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, software engineering or a related field.
- 1 or more years of relevant work experience or equivalent in roles managing data bases, interpreting data, and delivering actionable insight.
- Strong skills in MS Excel and SQL would be a plus.
- Snowflake, Power BI and Python would be a plus.
- Proficient English level (B2).
- Ability to work in a constantly changing environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under high-volume workload, prioritizing in an effective manner.
