Sr Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Purpose:
Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and managing talent acquisition and recruitment strategies, as well as the maintenance and grow of the employer brand.
**Responsibilities**:
End to end ownership of the recruitment process.
Execute a full cycle recruiting strategy: source, recruit, interview, coordinate and close a variety of different roles across multiple teams and levels (technical, professional or management).
Works closely with hiring manager to develop efficient and effective sourcing strategies.
Compile and analyze data indicating the relative strengths across L.L. Bean’s internal pool.
Builds and maintains relationships with outside vendors such as external search agencies, research recruiters and outplacement agencies.
Stays abreast of developments in talent recruiting, assessment and development processes and tools.
Accountable for keeping the Applicant Tracking System updated.
Gathers and analyzes recruiting measurement data to ensure success of recruiting strategies and efforts. Determines necessary adjustments.
Produces reports such as weekly updates, time to fill, and others as needed.
Involves other HR partners as appropriate in issues and shares information identified during course of recruiting efforts.
Actively partners with internal and/or external colleagues on talent management initiatives. Continually look for enhancements or opportunities for alignment and improvements in our talent management process.
May conduct new hire orientations
Supports other projects as needed.
Document processes as needed.
May manage assigned personnel:
- Establish performance objectives, assign/direct work, monitor progress and appraise performance
- Develop employees in job-related skills through work assignments, direct training, and development plans, and provide regular feedback, both positive and developmental
- Communicate company policies and procedures and resolve routine personnel problems in accordance with them
- Support and create an effective team environment, aligned with L.L. Bean culture and values.
English Level: C1+
Education Level: 4-Year Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or Industrial Engineering (preferred but not limited to).
Years of Experience: 5+
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of Costa Rica Labor Code and regulations.- Excellent understanding of Recruiting and employment brand strategies.- Advanced knowledge in recruiting technologies and social media. Understand how to leverage the myriad of technology in the recruiting process.- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.- Highly organized with strong planning skills.- Team player who works effectively in a collaborative environment.-
- Customer service oriented.- Ability to manage multiple priorities.- Excellent consulting, negotiation and influencing skills.- Strong problem-solving skills.- Honest and trustworthy.- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information.- Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate a team- Deeply understands talents needed and effectively assesses skills and abilities of applicants for open positions. Ensures successful placements right person, right talent, right job.- Demonstrated ability to work with senior management.
