About the Role

Workday is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join the Global Revenue Finance team in a role passionate about financial performance analysis and reporting. We’re looking for a finance leader that is organized, leverages data to influence, and collaborates to drive optimal outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and train individual contributors in financial processes and reporting.- Prepare, Review, and Design key financial reports used to lead and support the Global Revenue organization.- Build effective partnerships across the Workday Global Revenue Operations- Provide qualitative financial analysis around key performance indicators and develop insights on business performance based on the interpretation of financial results.- Prepare monthly and quarterly P&L and high-level financial package. Communicate variances to plan/budget to business partners and other key stakeholders. Analyze business results providing advice on financial impact of operating decisions.- Support the annual strategic planning process, including the evaluation of key metrics and models.- Develop strong industry knowledge through collaboration with the business to proactively handle and evaluate future challenges.- Own regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to provide significant metrics and insights.- Participate in cross-functional efforts to continuously improve data quality and establish rigor in measuring and monitoring the business.

Responsabilidades del puesto:
- Dirigir, desarrollar y formar a colaboradores individuales en procesos e informes financieros.- Preparar, revisar y diseñar informes financieros clave utilizados para dirigir y apoyar a la organización de ingresos globales.- Establecer alianzas eficaces dentro del área de operaciones de ingresos globales de Workday.- Proporcionar análisis financieros cualitativos en torno a indicadores clave de rendimiento y desarrollar información detallada sobre los resultados del negocio en función de la interpretación de los datos financieros.- Preparar los estados de resultados mensuales y trimestrales y el paquete financiero de alto nível. Comunicar desviaciones conforme al plan/presupuesto a los socios comerciales y otras partes interesadas. Analizar los resultados del negocio a la vez que se asesora sobre el impacto financiero de las decisiones operativas.- Apoyar el proceso anual de planificación estratégica, incluyendo la evaluación de métricas y modelos clave.- Desarrollar un sólido conocimiento del sector mediante la colaboración con la empresa para gestionar y evaluar de forma proactiva los retos futuros.- Realización de informes y análisis periódicos y ad hoc para proporcionar métricas y perspectivas significativas.- Participar en los esfuerzos interfuncionales para mejorar continuamente la calidad de los datos y medir y supervisar el negocio con rigor.
