**BAT COSTA RICA** **IS LOOKING FOR AN OPERATIONS FINANCE SENIOR ANALYST (TALENT PIPELINE)**

**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Experienced - Non-Management Level

**FUNCTION**: Finance

**LOCATION**:Heredia, Costa Rica

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

**Reports to**:Operations Finance Senior Manager

**Reporting Level**:Senior Level

**Geographic Scope**:Americas & USA

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Support Operations overheads control and follow up.
- Lead product materials variance analysis, insights, and recommendations.
- Support analysis of the Inventory variations (actual vs forecast) by Combustibles and New Categories, understanding and explaining main drivers.
- Responsible to coordinate with key partners (such as Leaf, Treasury, Sales) the main assumptions during forecast period.
- Develop and present analytics to the organization that highlights business risks and opportunities.
- Identify best practices and standardize where possible.
- Contribute to Monthly Finance Operations Review by developing valuable financial insights.
- Responsible for performance and documentation of various internal and SOx controls.

**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**
- Do you have previous experience working with forecasting processes on balance sheet, profit and losses and sales plans?
- Have you worked in any cost accounting or supply finance role in the past?
- Are you familiar with SOx controls and audit processes?

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related areas.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or cost accounting/finance operations area
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ / C1).
- High proficiency in knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrate commercial competence (main drivers for product costing variations)
- Deep knowledge of product operation and production interactions is preferred.
- Ability to perform under pressure and navigate through ambiguity.
- Strong problem-solving skills.

**BENEFICIAL**
- Cost Accounting knowledge desirable.
- BPC system knowledge preferred.
- SAP knowledge in FI and MM modules desirable.
