Purpose of the Job

  • Implement external communication strategies and plans in line with the Company's objectives.
  • Participate in the construction of a solid and sustained storytelling fully aligned with company's vision.
  • Effectively engage external stakeholders, collaborating with External Affairs for the definition of stakeholder engagement & contributions strategy.
  • Engage and foster longterm relationships with external parties in order to support Company reputation.
  • Coordinate the external communications ecosystem (internal team, external stakeholders, agencies and suppliers) in order to ensure the use of the proper communication tools, channels and the effectiveness of the Company and departmental communication plans and activities.
Your 'day to day'

  • Execute external communications plans and promote longterm relationships with external parties in order to support Company's objectives and vison.
  • Evolve communication channels in line with PMI smoke free future vision and objectives by constantly innovating and incorporating the newest comms languages, formats, channels and standards.
  • Take responsibility for developing digital communications to engage with audiences, monitoring social media and the digital environment.
  • Support External Communications Director, in the development and implementation of external communication activities, ensuring the appropriate consistency of all external messages, maintaining the Company's image as good corporate citizen and engaging a durable network of key local stakeholders.
  • Enhance the Company's awareness and presence among the local community
  • Supervise external events, visits, company meetings, conventions supporting Management Team in the definition of initiatives' objectives and execution plan and coordinating external suppliers and internal employees involved in the initiatives.
  • Participate in the development of relevant and specific regional projects that will be planned and designed in coordination with the regional communications team. Ensure the successful implementation and support.

Education:

College/University master's degree in communications, digital marketing

Language:

Fluent English:
Fluent

Work experience:

  • 6 years in a communications role, similar to the described above, with agency management experience in more than one country.
Strong problem-solving skills and project management capabilities; enjoys collaborating and working as part of a large, matrixed organization. Manages agencies. Customer centric.
