The US Program Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the US fleet program consisting of over 4500 vehicles.

This role includes the close management and optimization of our Fleet Management Company, reviewing, designing and updating our fleet policies and supporting materials as well as working with the US business and salesforce to ensure a positive experience.

AstraZeneca is a trailblazer in the fleet industry with an aggressive goal to be 100% electric by the end of 2025.

This means playing a leading role in designing and leading change management program to transition all vehicles to fully electric and ensure the best experience possible for our drivers given the significant cultural shift.


Role Profile & Key Responsibilities:

This role supports the US fleet spanning multiple business units. It consists of vendor management, customer management and change management.

Typical duties for the US Program Manager include:

  • Maintaining and evolving the US fleet program to keep up with industry advancements including providing timely communications and support
  • Vendor management and optimization of the US Fleet Management Company
  • Providing responsive and positive customer support to drivers and leaders on progress and improvements
  • Reviewing, enforcing, evolving and managing the US Fleet policy
  • Thought leadership and execution around AZ's transition to a fully electric fleet building new insights and
  • Cross functional collaboration with teams such as Finance, HR, Legal, Medical and Sustainability

Qualifications:

  • University degree required
  • Vendor management experience, fleet management is an asset
  • Project management/change management experience
  • Working experience and knowledge of the US market
  • Microsoft Office & Excel literacy related to analyzing and reporting data
  • Experienced problem solver
  • Highly customer service focused
  • Organized and detailed to manage a high volume of communications and simultaneous projects
  • Comfort with risk and ambiguous situations
  • Strong communications skills (English verbal and written) with the ability to present information in a clear and concise format
  • Ability to engage fast with stakeholders at different levels within the organization
  • Strong relationship and business partnering skills
  • Flexibility and fast adaptation to changing environment.
  • Time management and prioritization (the ability to place urgency on varying demands).
  • Strong collaboration skills with different teams, cultures, etc.
