Job Description

Support the definition and achievement of financial goals through the development, execution, and follow-up of financial plans with the different departments of the company. Support the development of projects that facilitate and improve the monthly execution of financial processes through the definition of metrics, and its process improvement. Ensure compliance of the company's policies and procedures.

 

 

  •  Define and execute the financial analysis necessary for capital projects, new products and/or processes maintaining a customized approach and solution for each one.
  •  Provide friendly and professional support to different site departments for the analysis and control of the financial budget and forecast (LBE's) (Budget Amigo).
  •  Audit inventory controls related to raw materials, work in process and finished goods.
  •  Represent the Finance team in different departmental meetings: Tier4, Inventory Risk & Opportunities, Game Plan, and shop floor visits.
  •  Perform all relevant tasks for the accounting and financial month-end close cycles: inventory, incurred manufacturing variances, financial metrics, and key performance indicators analysis, direct Labor & overhead spend analysis, intercompany cross charges, exchange rate variance, royalties’ calculation, and headcount analysis.
  •  Support and control and audit inventory cycle count process in coordination with Supply Chain.
  •  Inventory reserve analysis and control.
  •  Ensure compliance of all corporate, legal, EHS, fiscal and statutory requirements by adhering to internal policies and procedures. Ensure compliance by adopting strategies, internal controls, communication, and training as required.
  •  Continually improve EHS results through leadership, commitment, and participation on all site’s EHS initiatives.
  •  All other duties inherent to the position and those assigned by their respective manager.
  •  Support Vendor Master Data review and approval.
  •  Monthly balance sheet reconciliation reviews and controls.
  • Support & controls for account payables, travel & entertainment expenses, purchase requisition shopping karts, Concierge activities and its key operational metrics for Procure to Pay (invoices, GR/IR, payments).
  • Coordinate and lead the monthly review process for Inventory Risks and Opportunities (R&O).

Qualifications

Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in public accounting or business administration.
  • Master’s degree in accounting or business administration (desirable).


Required Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in accounting, costing, budgeting & forecasting, and finance.
  • Required experience in manufacturing plants and ideally medical devices industry.
  • Manufacturing companies on free trade zone agreements/compliance.
  • English as a second language : B2 or above. (required).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in people management.
  • Microsoft Office, advanced Excel (required)

Desirable

  • Knowledge and experience in ERP systems is required (Ex. SAP, Monarch, Hyperion (BPC)) 
  • Accounting regulations USGAPP, IFRS, FASB, SOX, financial indicators.
