About the Role

The Senior Support Release Readiness role is a pivotal position that helps ensure the flawless implementation of Workday’s product, platform, and solution releases. This role works closely with Product & Technology and Support teams to develop and implement a comprehensive readiness framework that effectively prepares Support for new releases. This role is central to the Support enablement strategy, contributing to technical and operational readiness to ensure an outstanding customer experience and zero disruption.

Responsibilities

Develop and Implement the Release Readiness Framework:

Using your support and release management experience, develop a robust framework and enablement roadmap that encompasses processes, procedures, timelines, and resources tailored to Support's needs.

Facilitate meetings and collaborate with business partners to analyze impacts and establish a cohesive approach across the organization.

Establish results targets, measure, and communicate outcomes to business partners driving continuous improvement.

Collaborate with Product & Technology (P&T) Teams: 

You will get to enjoy building positive relationships with Product Development, Engineering, and Documentation teams to gain insights into changes and their potential impact on Support and our customers, influencing an outstanding workmate and customer experience.

Participate in planning meetings, surface needs at the appropriate time in the planning cycle, and address changes and risks in the readiness plan.

Consult with P&T to provide feedback on materials provided for the organization.

Provide Support and Monitor Readiness:

Consult with internal teams on impacts to customers and the Support organization, and work to address them in advance of new releases.

Build the necessary awareness and knowledge for analysts to efficiently adopt and support release-related changes.

Track progress on committed dependencies; identify and help resolve potential risks or issues.

Provide support and guidance to analysts throughout the release, promptly addressing questions and concerns.

Facilitate Feedback and Improvement:

Collect pre- and post-launch impacts and Support's effectiveness; share insights with P&T teams.

Evaluate the effectiveness of release readiness efforts to identify and implement improvements.

La función de soporte sénior en la preparación para el lanzamiento es un puesto fundamental que ayuda a garantizar la implementación perfecta de los lanzamientos de productos, plataformas y soluciones de Workday. Este puesto trabaja en estrecha colaboración con los equipos de Producto y Tecnología, y Soporte a fin de desarrollar e implementar un marco de preparación integral que prepare de manera eficaz a Soporte para los nuevos lanzamientos. Esta función es fundamental en la estrategia de capacitación de Soporte, ya que contribuye a la preparación técnica y operativa para garantizar una experiencia de cliente excepcional y sin interrupciones.

Responsabilidades

Desarrollar e implementar el Marco de Preparación para el Lanzamiento:

Haciendo uso de tu experiencia en soporte y gestión de lanzamientos, deberás desarrollar un marco sólido y una hoja de ruta de capacitación que abarque los procesos, procedimientos, plazos y recursos adaptados a las necesidades de Soporte.

Facilitar reuniones y colaborar con los partners de negocio para analizar el impacto y establecer un enfoque cohesivo en toda la organización.

Establecer objetivos de resultados, medir y comunicar los resultados a los partners de negocio para impulsar la mejora continua.

Colaborar con los Equipos de Producto y Tecnología (P&T)

Tendrás la oportunidad de disfrutar de la construcción de relaciones positivas con los equipos de Desarrollo de Productos, Ingeniería y Documentación para obtener información sobre los cambios y sus posibles impactos en Soporte y en nuestros clientes, lo cual generará una experiencia excepcional tanto para los compañeros de trabajo como para los clientes.

Participar en las reuniones de planificación, cubrir las necesidades en el momento adecuado del ciclo de planificación y abordar los cambios y riesgos en el plan de preparación.

Consultar con P&T para brindar feedback sobre los materiales proporcionados a la organización.

Brindar soporte y supervisar la preparación:

Consultar con los equipos internos sobre las repercusiones en los clientes y la organización de Soporte, y trabajar para abordarlas antes de los nuevos lanzamientos.

Crear la concientización y los conocimientos necesarios para que los analistas adopten de manera eficaz los cambios relacionados con el lanzamiento y brinden soporte.

Seguir el progreso de las dependencias comprometidas; identificar y ayudar a resolver posibles riesgos o problemas.

Brindar soporte y orientación a los analistas durante todo el lanzamiento, y oportunamente ocuparse de las preguntas e inquietudes.


Facilitar el feedback y la mejora:

Recopilar los efectos previos y posteriores al lanzamiento y la eficacia de Soporte; compartir la información con los equipos de P&T.

Evaluar la eficacia de los esfuerzos de preparación para el lanzamiento a fin de identificar e implementar mejoras.

Inglés fluido para fines de negocios.

About You

Basic Qualifications

Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

6+ years in enterprise software application support.

6+ years managing knowledge transfer of systems releases.

6+ Years experience in project or program management.

Other Qualifications

Ability to apply organizational change management best practices. 

Able to apply Agile development and project management methodologies.

Proficiency crafting and delivering impact analyses, defining business outcomes and goals, building strategic roadmaps, and delivering training and communications.

Experience managing cross functional teams. Influencing areas of the business that are not under direct control will be an essential skill.

Ability to lead and contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced and constantly evolving work environment, independently prioritizing and managing time accordingly.

Proficiency using project management tools including Google suite, Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.

Cualificaciones básicas

Conocimientos técnicos, habilidades y experiencia:

6 años o más en soporte de aplicaciones de software empresarial.

6 años o más en gestión de transferencia de conocimientos sobre los lanzamientos de sistemas.

6 años o más de experiencia en gestión de proyectos o programas.

Otras cualificaciones

Capacidad para aplicar las mejores prácticas de gestión del cambio organizativo.

Capacidad de aplicar metodologías ágiles de desarrollo y gestión de proyectos.

 Competencia en la elaboración y entrega de análisis de impacto, definición de resultados y objetivos de negocio, elaboración de hojas de ruta estratégicas y organización de capacitación y comunicaciones.

Experiencia en gestión de equipos interfuncionales. Habilidad imprescindible: tener influencia en áreas de la empresa que no estén bajo control directo.

Capacidad para liderar y contribuir de forma consistente y positiva en un entorno de trabajo veloz y en constante evolución, priorizando y gestionando el tiempo de forma independiente y adecuada.

Dominio del uso de herramientas de gestión de proyectos, incluso Google suite, Jira, Confluence y Smartsheet.
