YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Lead - Sourcing Support, are to:

Lead the diverse Source-to-Pay (S2P) Sourcing Support team responsible for procurement sourcing activities at Bayer;Manage all required goods and services in alignment with global category strategies and sourcing approaches;Identify and evaluate supply sources, support sourcing activities, and ensure cost-efficient, high-quality, and timely procurement;Build and upskill the team, driving a continuous improvement culture and creating a psychologically safe environment;Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure alignment with strategic goals and enhance sourcing performance;Demonstrate leadership and DSO behaviors, focusing on outcomes, inclusion, collaboration, co-creation, and rapid learning;Maintain oversight and proactively communicate with Procurement Category teams and Internal Source to Pay teams;Engage with global/regional and local stakeholders to meet their priorities and requirements;Provide country-specific market intelligence to mitigate supply risk and gain competitive advantage;Offer professional development opportunities through workshops, training, and mentoring;Ensure working knowledge of AI & technology, identifying areas for AI/Digital tool implementation.WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, engineering, or business management;Extensive experience in procurement, sourcing methodologies, and process optimization;At least 5-10 years in leadership roles with a proven track record in leading large, complex teams and transformation projects;Strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration, influencing, and communication skills;Ability to work effectively in a global and virtual environment;Strategic mindset, financial acumen, and analytical decision-making skills;Strong market understanding and professional network;Digital fluency and working knowledge of AI;Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.   YOUR APPLICATION
