Whats unique about this job (What you'll do)

Support the company's financial planning and reporting processes by focusing on the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of dashboards and reports. Provide expertise in ad hoc analysis, report development, and ongoing support for Power BI, including maintenance and migration activities. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful presentation of financial data through visualizations and reporting tools. Serve as a reliable backup for system administration tasks related to the IBM TM1 System, ensuring continuity of governance, security, and compliance standards when needed.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and optimize financial dashboards and reports to support planning and decision-making.
• Work closely with finance and business teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver clear, actionable visualizations.
• Provide timely, insightful analysis of financial data to address business questions and support management needs.
• Oversee Power BI maintenance, including report migration, troubleshooting, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Assist the Financial Systems Senior Manager with the operation and support of the financial system, serving as a secondary point of contact for TM1-related processes.
• Support compliance and standards related to data governance, SOX compliance, and provide effective oversight of internal and external audits.
• Manage the TM1 Support portal and ensure timely resolution of requests, which may require independent or collaborative resolution.
• Collaborate with FP&A to maintain report-writing best practices and ensure the organization of the TM1 report folders.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within the system.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of TM1 configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Stay up to date with TM1 best practices, industry trends, and advancements.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, business intelligence, or data analysis.
• Experience with Power BI development and maintenance required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question.
• Information security awareness, dashboard design, and development.
• Strong, hands-on experience and solid understanding of Planning Analytics (TM1) interface capabilities (PAX, TM1 Web, PAW, Architect), or similar financial planning system or Business Performance system.
• Ability to work independently.
• Solid problem-solving and time management skills.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and set priorities based on immediate and long-term business needs.
• Comfortable performing ad-hoc research and analysis.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
