The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a(n) WCC Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by collecting and analyzing all documentation needed for billing. Acts as the liaison between customer, Solventum, and third-party payer to ensure the order meets regulatory and payer requirements. Develops a robust relationship cadence with Wound Care professionals and field personnel which results in greater ease of doing business with Solventum.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

• Demonstration of complete knowledge of the Solventum document collection process which includes understanding of 4 major departments within the Advantage Center:
• Order Management (some Initial Cycle Documentation)
• WDT (Wound Documentation)
• PDT (Prescriber Documentation)
• Utilize independent problem-solving skills to develop streamlined processes to limit contact with Wound Care Clinics while staying within the confines of Solventum process and procedure rules
• Review and analyze payer specific requirements and coverage criteria to determine required documentation and accurate billing criteria
• Conduct in-depth review of clinical documentation (medical records, prescriptions, operative reports, history and physicals) based on billing criteria
• Work with Wound Care Clinics or field personnel to obtain missing documentation required for placement and/or billing
• Provides a high level of customer service in a competitive market
• Participates in any and all reasonable work activities as may be deemed suitable and assigned by management

Your Skills And Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution or higher AND two (2) years of experience with interpretation of medical records

• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and email.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast paced and changing environment
• Requires repetitive keyboarding over 95% of the time and phone usage 60% of the time

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience working in a post-acute care setting including Home Health Agencies, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Wound Care Centers or with providers in this sector is a plus.

• Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to San Antonio at least 1 time per month)
