BI Analyst
who can turn data into meaningful insights that drive decisions across CRM, Paid Media, SEO, Affiliates, VIP, and Brand.

This role focuses on
marketing-focused analytics, reporting, and insight generation
, working closely with our Data Analysts and the broader Marketing organisation.

You will create reports, identify trends, analyse player behaviour, measure campaign performance, and help Marketing understand what's working, what's not, and why.

This is a hands-on, analytical role designed for someone who loves data, storytelling, and supporting marketing teams with clarity and precision.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Analytics & Insights

  • Analyse player behaviour across Sports, Casino, Lottery, and Horses.
  • Identify trends, segments, and insights to support CRM, VIP, Paid Media, and Brand strategy.
  • Build reports that highlight FTDs, Actives, ARPU, churn, campaign uplift, bonus performance, and lifecycle metrics.
  • Deliver insights that improve acquisition, retention, and reactivation.

Performance Reporting

  • Build daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for Marketing and C-Suite.
  • Track campaign performance across channels (email, push, paid media, SEO, affiliates).
  • Monitor funnel performance from impressions → clicks → sign-ups → FTDs → long-term value.
  • Support Marketing teams with KPI tracking and target progress.

Dashboards & BI Support

  • Create and maintain dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, databricks, or equivalent tools.
  • Build datasets and views optimised for Marketing use cases.
  • Partner with the BI Developer and Data Engineer to structure data for accurate reporting.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work alongside CRM, Paid Media, Social, VIP, SEO, Affiliates, and Brand.
  • Translate business questions into data questions — and data into actionable recommendations.
  • Support Marketing leadership (CMO, Directors, Managers) with ad hoc analysis and structured insight packs.

Experimentation & Testing

  • Assist with A/B tests, offer experiments, segmentation tests, and journey analysis.
  • Evaluate the impact of promotions, bonuses, creatives, and channel strategies.
  • Provide recommendations backed by data, not assumptions.

Data Quality Partnership

  • Work with the Data QA Analyst to ensure marketing KPIs are accurate and definitions are consistent.
  • Help validate KPI logic, edge cases, and data anomalies.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

  • Strong SQL (joins, window functions, aggregations, segmentation logic).
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • Strong Excel/Sheets skills for quick analysis.
  • Understanding of data models, metrics layers, and marketing funnel data.
  • Experience visualising complex data clearly and intuitively.

Marketing Domain Knowledge (Preferred)

  • Experience with CRM, email, push, segmentation, or paid media analytics.
  • Understanding of acquisition funnels, retention metrics, churn, LTV, ARPU, CAC, and ROI.
  • Experience in gaming, fintech, e-commerce, or subscription products is a strong plus.

Core Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear stories and recommendations.
  • Highly organised and capable of managing several analyses at once.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to dig deeper into the data without being asked.

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

  • Deliver clear reporting for CRM, Paid Media, VIP, SEO, and Brand teams.
  • Provide insights that improve campaign performance and player engagement.
  • Build dashboards that stakeholders rely on daily/weekly.
  • Establish yourself as the go-to person for marketing analytics.
  • Improve visibility into FTDs, Actives, conversions, LTV, and retention.
  • Help Marketing leadership make fast, data-backed decisions.

Ideal Background

  • 2–5+ years as a BI Analyst, Marketing Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar.
  • Experience supporting marketing or commercial teams.
  • Exposure to gaming, fintech, SaaS, or digital marketing organisations.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
