Technical Writer – Medical Device Manufacturing

Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Technical Writer to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining clear, accurate, and compliant documentation for manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems within a regulated medical device environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Quality) to gather technical information and translate it into clear documentation.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, technical reports, equipment specifications, training manuals, and other engineering documents.
  • Manage Engineering Change Orders and ensure timely updates in the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure all documentation complies with ISO 13485:2016, 21 CFR 820, and internal standards.
  • Use tools such as MS Word, Excel, Visio, and PDF editors to produce high-quality documentation.
  • Participate in meetings to support documentation planning and execution.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or in-progress technical/engineering degree (e.g., Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical writing within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in English (B2 minimum; C1 preferred).
  • Familiarity with QMS systems and change management processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
