We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Specialist to manage the review and renewal of contracts across IT. This role will be responsible for ensuring contract language aligns with company standards, identifying risks, and facilitating timely renewals to maintain business continuity.

Contract Review, Analysis & Management

Review IT vendor contracts for clarity, compliance, and risk mitigation.

Engage with IT, project teams, and Business leads to understand requirements and translate into executed contracts. Collaborate with legal and Procurement to understand policies, best practices and legal requirements

Recommend and draft new contract language as needed to further align contract terms and conditions with organizational policies, legal requirements, and business needs.

Support sourcing events by conducting market research and assessing vendor bids and pricing.

Manage contract repository of draft and executed agreements.

- Renewal Management
Monitor contract expiration dates and initiate renewal processes in advance.

Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely execution of renewals.

Maintain accurate records of renewal status and contract versions.

- Process Improvement
Recommend improvements to contract workflows and renewal tracking systems.

Support the development of templates and standard clauses for recurring agreements.

- Stakeholder Communication
Serve as a liaison between legal, procurement, finance, and business units.

- Provide guidance on contract terms and implications to non-legal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field; JD or paralegal certification a plus.

5+ years of experience in contract management, legal review, or procurement including familiarity with NDAs, Master, SaaS, Software Licensing, and Services Agreements.

Strong understanding of US contract law, commercial terms, and risk assessment.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Fluency in English

Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

Strong business acumen and ability to engage and understand requirements

  • Experience with Cyber Risk Management
    Familiarity with DocuSign and SAP Ariba.
