Overview

We are looking for a
Resource Management Specialist
to support a global professional services organization. This role focuses on staffing coordination, resource allocation, demand/capacity planning, and maintaining accurate operational data. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Resource Allocation & Staffing

  • Assign consultants and partner resources to active and upcoming projects.
  • Match skills, availability, certifications, and project requirements effectively.
  • Support global staffing reviews, pipeline visibility, and supply/demand analysis.
  • Coordinate onboarding and ramp-up processes for new consultants.
  • Collaborate with partner resource managers when internal resources are unavailable.

Operational Support

  • Maintain accurate data in internal resource management and PSA systems.
  • Support reporting needs (utilization, forecasting, pipeline, staffing metrics).
  • Conduct audits of consultant allocations and project information.
  • Assist with meeting preparation, note-taking, documentation, and action tracking.
  • Work with delivery teams to validate and improve resource forecast accuracy.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience
    in resource management, staffing, demand/capacity planning, or similar.
  • 3–5 years of experience
    working with data, reporting, dashboards, or analytics.
  • Proficiency in
    Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Suite
    , and collaboration tools like
    Miro
    .
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to evaluate consultant experience, certifications, and expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable, accurate, and quick in delivering tasks.
  • Self-motivated and able to learn new tools and workflows.
  • Comfortable collaborating across global teams and time zones.
