The AVP, FP&A will be business facing supporting Sales, Global Customer Support, Consulting Services, Analytical Services, and Marketing for the RMS operating unit within Moody’s Analytics.

OPEX & PnL Management:

- Drive the annual budgeting and Quarterly forecasting process,
- Month-end Accruals, expense review and Variance analysis,
- Compensation modeling and approvals,
- Purchase Acquisition approvals for non-compensation spend,
- PnL reporting and variance analysis for Consulting Services and Analytical Services business units,
- SaaS PnL analysis support, and
- Quarterly ARR analysis and annual investment prioritization support for Product Org.

Topline:

- Monthly analysis of $300m+ annual recurring revenue run-rate based on Sales performance, highlighting contract level trends and impact on fiscal year projections.

Ad Hoc:

- Participate in the UAT process as part of RMS integration into MA systems,
- Support corporate FP&A related tasks as needed,
- Support preparation of investor-relations and board materials, and
- Reporting and analysis as needed by business.
- Proven ability to build relationships and establish credibility with diverse audiences,
- Able to translate financial results and analysis into relevant, impactful narratives,
- Independent worker with cross-functional orientation, able to multi-task and comfortable in a fast-paced, high growth, dynamic setting,
- Prior top-line and OPEX experience strongly preferred,
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field with 8+ years FP&A experience in Software/SaaS industry, and
- Technical: Hyperion Essbase, Salesforce, Adaptive, OneStream, excel and database management skills; working knowledge of ASC 606.
