**Consulting Security Engineer (Endpoint Solutions)**

Fortinet, a global leader and innovator in Network Security and the leading cyber security vendor in Latin America, seeks a Consulting Security Engineer in support of sales, marketing and development efforts in Latin America, specialized in endpoint solutions. A CSE is a Senior Engineer, part of an elite team, who acts as an architect and advisor to the field engineering and accounts teams. The CSE engages in large impact deals across a range of industries by providing expert advice on the design, architecture and implementation of solutions that best meet the specific customer needs. The CSE works alongside with peer field engineers, account teams, and channel partners that may be involved, throughout the sales process. The CSE is expected to shape the positive outcome of customer engagements such as presentations, meetings, demonstrations and proof of concept (POC) activities. This role offers high visibility to senior management, networking across corporate teams as well as the opportunity to shape the business and the direction of our future products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support sales activities as a strategic and high-level corporate technical resource for vital pre-sales engagements and key opportunities.
- Participate with SE peers to lead the design and architecture of secure IP networks utilizing and leveraging all aspects of Fortinet’s product line to create superior solutions in competitive environments.
- Provide training to System Engineers at various events worldwide and mentor SE specialists within Virtual Teams.
- Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to help identify, qualify, and develop features critical to Fortinet’s success.
- Write whitepapers, tech notes, and other high-level technical documentation as required.
- Interface with Fortinet’s Business and Technology partners within designated technology discipline and distribute that knowledge to the field Systems Engineers.
- Comply with activity reports and ensure timely communication to the CSE Manager / CSE Director.

**Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)**
- Minimum 10 years technical experience in networking/computing
- Extensive and proven experience in designing, building and supporting advanced security solutions in a customer facing role. 5+ years related experience.
- Strong network and security skills including hands-on experience with products from top security vendors. Good understanding of networking technologies.
- Deep understanding of:

- Secure endpoint technologies
- Endpoint Detection and Response
- Malware techniques and approaches
- Proven hands on experience with Fortinet’s enhanced technologies such as FortiClient, FortiEDR highly desirable.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Public Cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (desirable).
- Ability to travel on short notice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills. Capable of delivering product and technology presentations to technical and business audiences.
- Outstanding consultative skills. Ability to interpret the specific customer environment and security needs, and articulate the best technical solution.
- Outstanding project management and documentation skills. Ability to design and follow work plans for complex activities, and by following good documentation practices.
- Ability to work effectively, to add value as a team member, and collaborate with a variety of teams such as engineering, sales, product management and customer support.
- Ability to mentor other sales engineers and take a leadership

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Fortinet NSE, CISSP, CISM and other security certifications are highly desirable.
- Spanish and English required, Portuguese highly desirable.
