Sr. Systems Engineer III

The Engineer will be responsible for the overall systems and services in the Digital Workplace team that is part of Infrastructure domain. The purpose and objectives of the team is to provide an exceptional user experience across the suite of collaboration tools that is owned, supported, managed and delivered by the team. The engineer will focus on implementation, deliveries, and support in both the technical and business user aspect. The engineer plays an important role in the lifecycle of services across cloud SaaS, IaaS, and on-prem services and integration across platforms with a focus on Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. Working across teams, the engineer will need ensure that its products and services are being deployed and consumed in an optimal way and mentor teams across the organization with product roadmaps, training and documentation, and support assistance as a product group team.

Carry on work through WFS Way of Working using Agile methodologies in a highly collaborative team approach Participate in an on-call rotation within the team in order to ensure any urgent or business disruption is attended to according to the organization’s Critical Incident Management process License management across squad services ensuring the appropriate license level for cost-efficiencies

**Requirements**:

- 6+ years managing, supporting and delivering, SharePoint experiences and 1+ years of development experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, and PowerBI)
- Knowledge in PowerShell to utilize Microsoft Online modules for development and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of JSON, XML, CSS, HTML, APIs and SharePoint Patterns and Practices.
- Experience in migrating from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online using Microsoft native tools or third-party solutions like Sharegate.
- Understanding in UI and UX design.
- Deep knowledge of solution architecture, design, implementation of Cloud and/or hybrid collaboration environments.
- Ability to secure and govern SharePoint environments
- Related knowledge in Microsoft 365 Enterprise Services (Modern Work - Exchange online, Azure AD, Security & Compliance, Teams, Stream) and on-premises infrastructure like Active Directory and Windows servers is recommended.
- General understanding of Microsoft 365 licensing and services.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, or related discipline (significant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- Experience delivering and supporting collaboration tools and services in a global organization
- Has good understanding of key Agile concepts and/or experience Agile environment
- Possess a passion for continuous learning, strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and good judgement
- Highly organized and able to manage and work from a prioritized list of planned activities for the team
