Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Systems Engineer based in the San José Metropolitan Area, where some work-from-home flexibility is available. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and administering IT systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing ongoing technical support for internal and external stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include ensuring system reliability, supporting system architecture design, and resolving complex technological challenges to maintain operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Able to use relevant computer system applications (which may include spreadsheets, word processors, databases, etc) at an intermediate level.
  • Minimum of one current major certification recognized by the Systems Engineering Department (currency must be maintained), with a strong commitment to continued development of technical skills as evidenced by additional certifications or demonstrated expertise on a relevant technology or product line.
  • Minimum of (5) years technical support experience with PC's, high-end servers, local area networks, and associated components with at least (2) years in phone support environment
  • Minimum of (1) year vendor relations experience in a presales vendor support role
  • Minimum of (1) year experience in formal product presentations and/or technical sales training experience to small and medium audiences
  • Minimum of (1) year experience in project management
  • Previous trade show experience
  • Knowledge of the interoperability of various PC components, software, peripherals, networking, desktop platforms, applications, standalone and network operating systems, with strong technical abilities in at least (2) of these areas.

Mandatory:

  • Workstation and AV Solutions
    : Strong understanding of professional workstations, ISV-certified hardware and software (Autodesk, Adobe, SolidWorks, etc.), GPU technologies (e.g., NVIDIA RTX/Quadro), and content creation workflows.
  • Tech Sales
    : Experience working with sales teams or partners to position solutions for creative professionals, engineers, or verticals like architecture, media, and design.
  • Client/Endpoint Hardware
    : Familiarity with enterprise laptops, desktops, peripherals, and how to align these with customer use cases.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to deliver
    product demos, technical trainings, and partner enablement
    sessions.
