Principal Functional Responsibilities
Responsible for analysis, design, and implementation of Oracle ERP modules & features following the Emerson Process Management Standard Designs and Implementation Methodology.
- In conjunction with the 3 rd party implementation partner, works with division/site users to understand business requirements, matching those requirements against the standard design
- Provides functional guidance to local IT structures and business management
- Manage projects and or oversee local project managers
- Work with sites in order to plan projects (and estimated costs)
- Gather project requirements
- Create and maintain project plans
- Keep projects on target
- Report project progress
- Escalate project issues or scope variances
- Oversees the planning of system development and deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards
- Translates functional specs and business requirements for technical groups
- Creates solutions that address business requirements
- Supports development, test and production environments
- Develops and maintains documentation for standards and procedures
- Liaison between divisions/sites and technical groups, including 3 rd party implementation partner and IT Shared Services
**EDUCATION**:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related area is required. Or equivalent work experience
Fluent in English, Spanish
**EXPERIENCE/SKILLS**:
- At least 4 years of experience in Oracle projects and systems analysis
- Business-related experience
- Diversity of functional business experiences (i.e., Finance, Operations, Order Management)
- Experience with Oracle Applications - Implementation experience required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Must be able to convey technical information in non-technical language
