The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As Regional AP Lead you will be responsible for the conscientious performance of all the given duties in Accounts Payable. The successful individual will increase the efficiency of the department, and support Accounts Payable stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance. This role will be closely cooperating with BPO, Sourcing & Finance Leaders and Global AP Leader. You will also be responsible for validating and approving manual payments made on banking portals.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Active support of pre-deployment and deployment activities
- Representing AP in internal and external meetings
- Organize and lead meetings across different streams (e.g. AP/STP/RTR etc.) and Process Owners community
- Prioritizing alignment and improvement opportunities and projects to implement.
- Accountability for global communication and best practice sharing across global teams
- Provide coaching for Accounts Payable processes to internal stakeholders, including executive levels. Backing-up the Global AP Leader for the selected tasks
- Collaborating with the various functions (eg. BPO, Finance, sourcing, manufacturing locations, etc) to ensure global AP processes are delivered, measured, and governed
- Providing overall leadership and guidance for AP processes; includes legacy as well as ERP deployed countries as well as readiness reviews and transformation requirements
- Supporting compliance to ensure 100% legal and financial requirements are met.
- Review and realize payments (manual and/or batch payment) in timely manner for various 3M Healthcare Legal Entities according to the internal controls established
- Check incoming payment requests
- Partner with relevant stakeholders across functions

Education and experience:
Knowledge and skills:

- Minimum of five (5) years combined experience in Accounts Payable
- Fluent English
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- SAP experience or other ERP experience
- Process reengineering experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
